Breezy Way Counseling requires at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice—or missed appointments—will be charged a $100 fee. This policy helps ensure availability for all clients and respects the time set aside for your session.
Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and make sure you feel comfortable. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you to counseling, review important background information, and discuss your goals for therapy. I’ll also explain how counseling works, answer any questions you have, and go over logistics like policies and confidentiality. There’s no pressure to share everything at once—this session moves at your pace and is focused on setting a foundation that feels supportive and safe.
